Accolades for Dark Sky Construction!  Dark Sky Construction recently re-shingled my house and separate garage because of wind and hail damage that occurred in a storm that occurred last year.  I was pleased at the company’s approach to the project.  They explained exactly what they were going to do, and when.  They led me through all the decisions I had to make so they could order what they needed for the job.  Once the work was scheduled they told me when the crew would arrive and how they would proceed.  The crew showed up at 6 a.m. and they worked steadily for 12 hours to finish both roofs.   They discovered some rotten wood that had to be replaced, and they talked me through it.  They did a fine job from start to finish.  After they completed the work, they were meticulous with the cleanup.  When they finished, the only evidence that they had been there were the new shingles.  All the workers were courteous, careful, and incredibly efficient.  It was most impressive and I’m pleased to recommend their services without reservation.

Dear Dark Sky Construction,  I wanted to send an appreciation to you all for the professionalism that I felt from working with you during, to me, what was a trying period.  First of all; I found out that I only had a couple of months to get work done, for which I was surprised to hear that’s how insurance works.

If you are looking for a 5+ roofing company to deal with, look no further.  Dark Sky is an amazing team!  I was referred to Dark Sky by a very good friend.  My first phone call to them was to Vance.  Within :15 of speaking to him, he had my insurance company on the phone for our hail damage.  He had a conference call with myself and the insurance company.  They were both at our home within a few days to inspect the damage.  We had help from Vance choosing our roofing shingles.  I never expected what came next.  The morning that the workers were to start on our roof, they arrived promptly at 6:00 am.  By 6:00 pm the same day, the old shingles had been removed, the new roof on, and everything cleaned up outside.  It was purely amazing.  The owner of Dark Sky had to help me to retrieve the check from our mortgage company.  They completely gave us the runaround, and Jake stuck by me without getting upset.  This process took many months after our roof was completed.  If I ever need anything else done I would definitely contact this company.  They are very professional and work with you no matter what it takes.  I cannot say enough about how great this team is.  Thank you Dark Sky!

I met Vance while he was promoting Dark Sky Construction in Hugo, CO.  I hired Dark Sky Construction to initially put on a new roof that was damaged in a hail storm.  Thanks to Vance’s keen eye, he also spotted damage to one area of my siding during his initial walk through of the damage.  Vance was then here with me while the insurance adjuster was completing his inspection, and Vance made sure that he saw all the damage.  Despite starting the work in the winter; November for the roof and December for the siding due to shortage of materials from COVID.
